Results from survey.

From my results I found out that people’s favourite artist is Chris brown, Florence and the Machine and Beyoncé. I also found out that more males completed my survey than women. I also found out that the most popular genre of music is Hip Hop, R n B and pop.

I will create my magazine by having one large image on the front of the magazine, with various pieces of writing around the picture letting people know what else is inside of the magazine. Throughout my magazine I will put in an interview with a well-known music artist which is doing really well in the charts, images of artists and maybe a Music chart such as top 40 hits right now. I may also include gossip about artists which is headlining.

My media product will represent different social groups such as different ethnicity’s and also different class, so most of my results are from middle class students. In my magazine I will also include maybe one page which my audience said they also were into such as fashion.

The media institution which will distribute my product will be Bauer Media. This is a well-known media company which also produces things such as Kerrang, Mojo, Smash hits and 4 Music.

The audience for my media product is both Gender male and female. It is also targeted at young people aged 16-20 so students really.

I will attract my audience by putting things on the front of my magazine which they stated they would like to see such as text, images and ‘hot’ artists throughout my magazine. I will also include a colour scheme including certain colours which were asked for when my survey was
