In this magazine the colours used are are bright and bold colours which stand out and make a statement, they are black, blue, red and white. The colours on the magazine dont really appeal to me as i feel it looks abit boring, the only colour which stands out to me and i like is the blue colour which is used. The main image on the front cover is an image of US Rapper 'Lil Wayne', they have centred him in the middle of the page, this makes him stand out and seem important. What i like about the image is the fact that it looks as thou he is coming towards the audience, it gives a good effect. The style of the magazine sort of appeals to me as i like the style of writing which is used, again aswell as the way the image is portrayed and positioned. I feel as thou the magazine does attract my attention, but it doesnt draw me in fully, it does look abit dull..it doesnt really say alot to draw in readers, it relys on the image and colours. The target audience is young males which are into rap music and look up to young rappers as their idols, as also on the front cover is states over young successful singers, the magazine doesnt really speak to the reader, theres not alot of text on the front cover.

The colours used on this magazine are purply, pink, red and black, these colours represent fun, happy and just good things. The images that have been used is one large image which is spread across the whole of the front cover, its quite big and very in your face, the image is of a young stylish singer, i like the fact that the image used looks fun and outgoing. The style of magazine however does not really appeal to me i dont like the way the title is presented and the titles are very dull, the only thing which does appeal to me is the way that certain text around the cover is boxed in. The target audience of this magazine would be young teenage girls, that are into music and also fashion, as the way the singer is dressed. Young teenage girls look up to singers like her and this attracts more customers, it speaks to the reader by putting questions on the cover, this makes the reader think and want to indelve further into the magazine to find out more about it.
On this magazine the colours which are used are very vibrant and bright, they attract alot of attention to the magazine as they stand out so much, they are hard not to miss. The colours which are used are red, yellow, orange and balck, these colours are colours which arent usually used on magazines which again makes it stand out even more and its original. The images that have been used is a very well known singer Mariah Carey, shes pretty and appeals to many people, the image is in the middle of the magazine and this bring more attention to Mariah as she is centre of attentiuon, the image is quite big and takes uo quite alot of the cover, i like the fact that it is portrayed right in the middle. The style of the magazine does appeal to me, i like the style of writing which is used throughout the magazine cover, i like how big the text is, its at just a good and suitable size and shows clearly everything so that when the reader picks it up they can understand and see fully everything, also i like the colour of the writing mariah carey its a really nice, chilled colour but it also makes a bold statement as its different to every other colour on the cover page. The target audience of this magazine would be women and men as she is an icon to both genders, men feel attracted to her as she is a beautiful women and also women like her songs and also see her as a style icon in their life
